Accurate Consulting Ltd was founded in 2016 and has grown to be one of the largest independent consultancies in New Zealand. Accurate has been built on a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our senior management team have a combined experience of over 60 years within the asbestos industry. Our team of certified asbestos inspectors maintain high standards in all work undertaken and each consultant likes to get involved in projects from inception to final sign off.
A single point of contact is allocated to each project to ensure consistency of approach and knowledge is retained through all stages. This approach helps us to try and achieve the best possible outcome in the most economical way.

Our Asbestos testing is IANZ accredited and we are SiteWise registered
International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) ensures that all testing laboratories, inspection bodies, building consent authorities and medical imaging providers meet international standards and can demonstrate that they are safe, competent and accurate. Not all laboratories and inspection bodies are accredited, so when you see any company carrying the IANZ symbol you can have confidence in the results.
Accurate Consulting Ltd is an accredited chemical testing laboratory, note that the Health and Safety at Work Asbestos Regulations require all asbestos material samples to be analysed by an IANZ accredited laboratory.
- We conform to ISO:17025:2005 standards.
- We hold IANZ accreditation Chemical Testing Laboratory – Airborne Fibre Counts.
- We are registered with SiteWise Ltd – a pre-qualification system that grades a contractor’s health and safety capability and publishes that grade in a database that can be viewed by main contractors and principal organisations.
